Senate Homeland Security Committee Holds Hearing on the COVID-19 Pandemic Learn About Promise of Ivermectin

The Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee heard from medical professionals who advocate for alternative coronavirus treatments and mitigation measures than those at the National Institutes of Health, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and World Health Organization. Several of the doctors, based on growing evidence, advocated for the use of the drugs hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin to treat patients. Ranking Member Gary Peters (D-MI) delivered his opening statement, in a shameless attack, criticizing the hearing as well as the good doctors that are only working daily to save lives during this horrific pandemic. Other than Peters showing up to denounce this important hearing, not one Democrat bothered to attend. For that matter, there were few Republicans.
