UK Moves Slowly to Compensate COVID-19 Vax Injuries

Recently released under a Freedom of Information request in England, thus far, COVID-19 vaccine injury compensation has cost UK taxpayers &pound;16 million (US$19.47 million) as reported in Sunday Express. It turns out that out of the over 100 people killed or disabled due to COVID-19 jab complications, 6,885 claims have been filed with the UK&rsquo;s Vaccine Damage Payment Scheme based on jabs since December 2020. But to put things in perspective, England alone had 146 million doses administered.
As reported by Sunday Express edition Lucy Johnson, Health and Social Affairs Editor, the current Briton scheme allows for one-off payment of &pound;120,000 from the government&rsquo;s compensation program. Vaccine injured Britons have a tough road to get paid for their injuries in the UK. They must have a government-approved medical assessor come forth with a decision that at least 60% of the damage is due to the vaccine. This can be both physical or mental damage, but the 60% figure seems arbitrary.&nbsp;
