Patients with post–COVID-19 mRNA vaccination myocarditis had better clinical outcomes at 18 months than those with myocarditis of other origins according to physician-researchers Karol E. Watson, M.D., Ph.D., FACC after a review of Semenzato L et al. JAMA 2024 Aug 26. The Editor-in-Chief made her analysis available to all via the New England Journal of Medicine Journal Watch.

Dr. Watson practices at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) Health in Westwood, part of the West Los Angeles in the City of Los Angeles.
