Researchers Hypothesize COVID-19 Vaccines May Trigger Oncogenesis

Raquel Valdes Angues, Ph.D., a neurology focused scientist affiliated at least this year with Oregon Health &amp; Science University and an independent researcher from Spain look into the literature associated with COVID-19 and cancers, a bombshell of a topic--COVID-19 vaccines and incidence of cancer. Advising that the &ldquo;staggering intricacy&rdquo; involving cancer as a &ldquo;complex and dynamic disease&rdquo; merits &ldquo;caution when advising all people with cancer (or a previous history of cancer) to receive the COVID-19 primary vaccine series plus additional boosters.&rdquo; As pivotal clinical trials testing the vaccines precluded this population, the authors suggest ongoing uncertainty on the topic of COVID-19 vaccine effectiveness, safety and potential risk of interaction for patients on anticancer regimen. The authors express a concerning hypothesis that the biomedical establishment likely won&rsquo;t consider it as urgent at this point. Yet the risks, even if the probability remains lower, raise concern.
