A study recently published in Scientific Reports looked at the effectiveness of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in implementing lifestyle changes in patients with obesity and type 2 diabetes, focusing on health benefits achieved and long-term changes. 

Chronic noncommunicable diseases, such as obesity, diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, cancers, chronic kidney diseases and respiratory diseases, are responsible for the majority of all global deaths.
