National Chinese Cross-Sectional Study 60,000+ Patients Finds Vaccination, Other Variables Associated with Asymptomatic COVID-19

Kaige Zhang and Hongcai Shang, both at Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, Key Laboratory of Chinese Internal Medicine of Ministry of Education, Dongzhimen Hospital and colleagues designed a descriptive analyses and binary logistics regression model-based cross-sectional study investigating correlations between the clinical characteristics and relative factors, including age, gender, pre-existing conditions, reinfection, vaccination and treatment of patients infected with SARS-CoV-2 nationwide to asymptomatic infection and disappearance of symptoms. The study involved a large online survey from December 24, 2022, to January 16, 2023, of 66,448 COVID-19 patients in China who have been diagnosed by nucleic acid test or rapid antigen test. A total of 64,515 valid questionnaires were collected.
