COVID-19 mRNA Vaccine IgG Cancer Connection?

While freedom of speech is a good thing, the level of vitriol, sensationalism and outright garbage has gone to new levels on X, formerly Twitter. One of the common claims promulgated on that platform is that COVID-19 mRNA vaccines are linked to so-called turbo cancers. Labeled as an anti-vaccine conspiracy theory, the turbo cancer proposition alleges that a growing rate of younger people are experiencing cancers due to the COVID-19 mRNA vaccines. However, while TrialSite continues to monitor and even feature case series studies showing instances of cancer after vaccination with COVID-19 mRNA vaccines, these few dozen examples do not prove anything. Such studies, known as case series, for example, are not designed to prove causation. Mikolaj Raszek, a Youtuber and principal at Edmonton, Canada-based Merogenomics, and colleagues hypothesize that any links that mRNA COVID-19 vaccines do have to cancer may be associated with surges in IgG4. Recently, Canadian-based genomic sequencing expert and colleagues including Alberto Rubio-Casillas at University of Guadalajara in Mexico, and colleagues found a journal to publish what will be considered a controversial entry titled &ldquo;Exploring the possible link between the spike protein immunoglobulin G4 antibodies and cancer.&rdquo;
The choice of journals was an interesting one, but more than likely there were few choices given the topic. Considered a predatory journal, Open Exploration Publishing is an academic publisher including a peer-reviewed online journal registered in New York, USA. Operated by an independent team, a Chinese company was a key investor. Called Wanleibio, the Open Exploration Publisher was able to set up operations.
