Recently, an organization in the United Kingdom called Ovarian Cancer Action initiated a conversation on X (formerly Twitter) asking the question, “Can men get ovarian cancer?”  Specifically, @OvarianCancerUK sought to raise awareness during Pride Month as to this somewhat rare but real situation.

Perhaps perplexing for many people, the organization answered the question stating, “Did you know that anyone with ovaries, regardless of gender identity, can be at risk for ovarian cancer? Let’s raise awareness by asking: can men get ovarian cancer? #PrideMonth #OvarianCancerAwareness
