I am a professor in the College of Health Sciences at the University of KwaZulu-Natal. I am involved in the mentorship of research at the postgraduate level across several medical disciplines, eg surgery, pediatrics, general medicine and psychology. My own research is within the discipline of human genetics. I am currently collaborating with other geneticists in education research, policy change and epidemiology.
