Neurosurgeons Receive Grants to Target Glioblastoma Investigations

Two clinical investigators focusing on cancerous tumors in the brain received research funds from the Neurosurgery Research and Education Foundation (NREF), the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS), and the Congress of Neurological Surgeons (CNS) Section on Tumors. Jacob Young, MD, and Daniel Green Eichberg, MD, received the StacheStrong and NREF Research Grants on Behalf of the AANS/CNS Section on Tumors. The grants are made possible thanks to funding by the partnership forged between NREF and StacheStrong, a nonprofit organization dedicated to funding brain cancer research.
