Nationally Recognized Yale Center for Clinical Investigation Secures $63m from NCATS

A top ten U.S. News & World Report research center, Yale University School of Medicine’s Center for Clinical Investigation, received $63.7 million in grant funding from the National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS) to support programs ranging from ongoing diversification of clinical trials participation to progressing novel drug therapies for Type 1 diabetes. Set up within the School of Medicine, the Yale Center for Clinical Investigation (YCCI) supports translational clinical research as well as training of the next generation of clinical investigators. This most recent award represents a renewal of a previous NCATS grant. TrialSite previously featured YCCI’s Cultural Ambassador program as a successful model for clinical trial participation diversification.
