With the aim of building health independence for Africa, the HOPE INDABA 2021 launched 25 October 2021, bringing together African experts in health, science, and human rights law.

Facing Africa's challenges together

Vision + action = health independence

Moderated by journalist, qualified attorney, and human rights activist, Shabnam Palesa Mohamed, the #HopeIndaba panelists analyzed the challenges we face during this C19 chapter, and co-created visionary and practical solutions for strengthening Africa's health independence.

Who were the pioneering panelists?

The health and science panelists included African general practitioners, specialists and scientists. The human rights law panelists included African mediators, attorneys, and advocates.
