I suppose we can be sure about long term effects after a long term… sadly. And we don’t know that.
I personally have postponed my decision, as in my age (34) it appeared to me that hospitalization because of covid vs. severe jab side effect that might require hospitalization was was higher in case of jab, and I can’t afford this now. Although both probabilities were in permilles according to US data, it’s still a difference. Also vaccine side effect statistics come from papers, while covid hospitalization rate is only among tested individuals so that second figure is overestimated.
I think the safety outcome you ask about should include an age + comorbidities.
If you are 80 years old and see that the jab has long term side effects, it might not bother you that much.
