Is the vaccine really safe over the long term cannot be answered yet.
The logic of “assume everything is ok” is based on how much you allow yourself to be convinced that if you feel ok then everything will be ok. Some diseases are insidious and do their damage after it is too late. Would you rather be cautious, educated and responsible – or does impatience to be ” normal again” tempt you to give up responsibility to a medical professional who has no clue what happens to your body in the long term?
In October 2013, DARPA awarded Moderna up to approximately $25 million to research and develop potential mRNA medicines as a part of DARPA’s Autonomous Diagnostics to Enable Prevention and Therapeutics, or ADEPT, program, which is focused on assisting with the development of technologies to rapidly identify and respond to threats posed by natural and engineered diseases and toxins.
In 2017 the research of mRNA intensified and Moderna was infused by DARPA with a mission.
In 2020 Moderns had clinical trials and documentation for the safety THEN, can be found, but it is more important to watch the health of the people taking part in getting vaccinations in the current campaigns. It is a live experiment during Emergency Use Authorization.
As for media outlets reporting 100% safety (by not reporting adverse effects) of the vaccines for COVID-19, that is evidence suppression.
The safety outcome that the public is seeing for the current Moderna and Pfizer mRNA vaccines, under emergency use authorization (EUA) and monitored by the VAERS webpages, is not spoken of on the local TV news or even cable or satellite news stations, unless they are more independent of the vaccine campaign.
The vaccines are not “traditional vaccines”, but rather instructions to trigger an immune system to react to your body…
“Both Pfizer/BioNTech’s BNT162b2 and Moderna’s mRNA-1273 vaccine candidates are based on stabilized mRNA encoding prefusion SARS-2-S that can be produced after the mRNA is delivered into the human cell and translated. SARS-2-S is cleaved into S1 and S2 subunits, with S1 serving the function of receptor-binding and S2 serving the function of membrane fusion.”
Ideally, the antibodies produced by your immune system attack those proteins – or it does not work to give you antibodies for the strain going around and you still can get COVID-19. Prophylactic treatments are still a wise standby and immune systems have their own instructions to prevent disease when supported with nutritional backup. Stay wise, stay safe.
