Investigators Dr. Heather Wilson and Professor John Forrester from the University of Aberdeen and Dr Lucia Kuffova from NHS Grampian have been awarded £200,00 to research the use of T regulatory cells as a potential treatment for Uveitis.
Uveitis, an inflammation within the eye (intraocular inflammation) is a sign threating condition typically treated with steroids or immunosuppressants which can be associated with bad side effects.
