Cardiovascular Comorbidity Burden Similar in Rheumatoid Arthritis, Systemic Sclerosis

National and Kapodistrian University of Athens School of Medicine finds that the burden of cardiovascular comorbidities is similar between rheumatoid arthritis. These are similar despite dyslipidemia and diabetes mellitus being nearly as prevalent in systemic sclerosis than in rheumatoid arthritis, according to the group’s published article in Arthritis Care & Research.
