At the recent conference in Gothenburg, scientists researching these potential ties report on a series of findings, from the results of longitudinal studies investigating the neurological impacts of long COVID to investigations linking the APOE4 genotype to a higher probability of post-COVID-related brain bleeds to accumulation of data suggesting the COVID-19-related protein may collect, accumulate and possibly inflame the brain.
